Besta One Italian Grille is the fruition of an immigrant's dream.
My Grandmother, Elizabeth (Nonna, as we called her), left Umbria and landed in this country with nothing but a beat up old suitcase, her own mother's recipies & a dream. The dream to one day feed the good people of her new land, America, the wonderful taste delights she had known and grown up with as a child at her mother's knee.
The Great Depression & eleven children later, it was too late for her to realize that dream. But here, at Besta One Italian Grille, Nonna's recipies live on, and are as alive with freshness, and goodness, and tender loving care, as they ever were in the old days in Umbria. We think my Nonna would be proud of what we here at Besta One Italian Grille have accomplished and proud to see her dream finally realized.
